Lipstick
Some people light up a room just by walking into it. They call it charisma, presence, aura. Natural beauties are born with it, great personalities radiate it, and those of us with less confidence in our genetics simply need to "work at it". A smudge of lipstick or a dash of gloss can make any girl feel like a woman, and any woman feel like a princess. Kiss dry lips and a bad mood goodbye with some retail therapy - a new lipstick for the changing of the season, or a new outfit just to banish those blues is a must. Tell your credit card bill - I'm worth it!

 Coat of Many Colors

Lip color helps alter the shape of the mouth. Pale colors add fullness, dark ones slim the lips and bright shades emphasise texture.

Red - you want to make them grovel, hey? Red is best with very little other makeup - maybe just a hint of mascara and a brush of blush. Avoid the flamboyant shade if you've got a dark complexion; it can overload the look.

Baby Pink - Pout and they'll fall into your lap. Great with pale skin and dark eyes. Use a dark pink liner for after-dark seduction.

Fuschia Pink - you're a wild girl with too many party dates to mention! Just keep it off your teeth and never team it with blue eye shadow. Barbie is so passé!

Neutrals in Brown - Classical neutrals give the 'barely there' hint of understated beauty.

Tangerine/Coral - Beach baby Bahamas. Orange looks great with your tan.

Frosted Pastels - the feminine touch of frosted shades. Tell us how we feel, Aretha: "You make me feel like a natural woman."

 Smile!

Don't sour the impression of a great lipstick with a frown. Work those voluptuous lips into a smile. Remember, it takes fewer muscles to grin than grimace. Here's a great tip to stop lipstick getting on your teeth: form an "0" shape with your mouth, place a finger inside and pull out quickly. You'll notice the excess of your lipstick will come out on your finger and not on your teeth!
